Hate Sony’s policy on video content with the PS3…
If your PS3 dies or is stolen, then you must call them and request they manually deactivate your video account on the old device… Otherwise, you won’t be able to download content onto your new PS3.
This is archaic! The playstation website allows you to reset all activated systems for games but nothing else?? This alone makes me really not want to use their service. And, I still have money on my account! I rarely download games, but I would download movies.
I had already boycotted them over the 8 months after their utter failure to keep their systems secure from malicious crackers. Then my faithful original PS3 died.
